I was baffled by the Municipal Manager’s statement in last week’s paper about her not knowing about heavy motor vehicles parked in residential areas.
This problem has been well documented in the paper, especially in Mimosa Crescent, where the road here is marked by the trucks that park here daily.
But this is not the only area where truck drivers do as they please.
If one drives through the town at night, you will see a number of trucks lining the streets.
This practice not only goes against the town’s by-laws; it poses a danger to people in the town as trucks with goods attract theft.
Our town needs a real clean up.
