Some questions need to be asked regarding the Endumeni Youth Council (last week’s Courier). Some of those youth appear to be mothers already, so we would like to know what the definition of ‘youth’ is.
Normally it should be between the ages of 16-27. And another thing: how were these Councillors elected? I do not recall seeing any advert? Is this racism again? Are only selected friends called to serve on this Youth Council, or is this just how the great ANC democracy works?
