No magical potion to make your money grow

Why on earth would you give your money to a stranger you met on the street?

Dear Madam,

In regards to the article in the Newcastle Advertiser on May 22, titled Beware of fraudsters who make money ‘grow on trees’, I am flabbergasted.

I am shocked that people are so greedy and gullible.

Why on earth would you give your money to a stranger you met on the street?

Honestly people, it is only logical that the only way to increase your wealth is to either marry rich, work a lot of overtime, win big in the lotto or at the casino or through investments.

No one can increase your wealth through some magical potion.

If they had that type of ability, would they really be walking around helping others to get rich? Why aren’t they driving around in a Jaguar and living it up?

Remember, if something looks like it is too good to be true, it usually is.

Common Sense.
