Criminals are ruining family fun

Madam – I visit the Oval Track every time there is an event and it makes me so angry to see how many times the club is being targeted by thieves, looking to get their hands on equipment or anything they can steal to make a quick buck!

Oval days are usually spent with family and friends, having a lekker braai and a klippies and coke while watching all the action.

How safe are families going to feel knowing the club is being targeted and the police are not really being effective by catching those responsible?

In the past few weeks the club has been targeted almost weekly. What’s the point of having events if straight after things are getting stolen? Who’s going to pay to replace what’s being lost to criminals on a weekly basis?

I think anyone who knows what’s going on needs to put pressure on the police to act, otherwise another good family event will be destroyed.
