Madam – I feel I need to share this very positive event with your readers.

In one of my ever more frequent “Senior Moments”, I left my purse containing my “Smart Shopper” card and two credit cards, on the table at a Motorway Stopover.

About half an hour after leaving the restaurant, I received a call from the Customer Care Division of Smart Shopper, advising me that my purse had been found by a lady, an absolute angel, who had contacted them. At this stage I wasn’t even aware that I’d left it behind! I was given her details. I called her and we had such a lovely chat.

To cut a long story short, I cancelled the cards, just because this was more convenient.

Thank you to Smart Shopper and the Angel. My faith in human nature has again been restored!
