Damaged Forderville roads need urgent repair

Some of the streets are so badly damaged that it is impossible for two vehicles to pass by at the same time

I was glad to see the roads being repaired by municipal workers in Drakensview. Some of these roads have been damaged for many months.

I wonder when the road repairs will also move to other areas like in Forderville where some roads are horrendous to drive on.

Some of the streets are so badly damaged that it is impossible for two vehicles to pass by at the same time.
Also these streets have been in this condition for many months.

In some areas, the road has been damaged after a water pipe was repaired. Here the dug up potion of the road is haphazardly covered by a mound of sand and left. In other areas, deep potholes have surfaced and are spreading fast.

I have noticed that some residents take it upon themselves to fill the potholes, this provides temporary relief and we thank these considerate residents for their assistance. It is now time for the local municipality to follow suit and spread their services throughout Umtshezi.
