Madam,
After reading about how Government wanted to tighten liquor legislation, I feel it is missing the point, just like tightening the laws regarding smoking, prohibiting tobacco companies from advertising and sponsoring sporting events.
While I agree the age limit needs to be increased, does Government really think these laws will stop alcohol abuse and domestic violence?
Domestic violence can be linked to alcohol abuse, but I abusers like to use the bottle as a scapegoat.
Before squashing the alcohol manufacturers to the point where owners struggle to support their employees, Government should maybe focus on something more important.
Maybe, instead of worrying about alcohol, it should focus on serious crimes such as murder, rape, drugs and human trafficking.
