Sir
My husband and I have been watching the Tour de France with keen interest and we have been so impressed with the cleanliness of towns, villages and rural areas through which the riders go.
One is then shocked into the state of filth of our town where there is litter everywhere. In a weeks time a national horse race will take place in Dundee. What impression will visitors to our town get of its general condition? If every property owner or tenant tidies the area around his property it will make a world of difference. Come on Dundonians, I challenge you to do this for civic pride and for Madiba.
