I was overjoyed after reading about the book exchange club that was recently launched.
In an era where so many children hide behind their mobile phones, Playstation and X-Box consoles, it is refreshing to see there are people who are doing their utmost to keep literature alive and well.
Haseena and Shameema Patel must be complimented for their sterling efforts.
I sincerely hope the youth and the community as a whole support the initiative and help it grow to such an extent that illiteracy becomes a thing of the past. I know that I will be showing my support.
To all those who are not avid readers, visit the book exchange club and broaden your mind.
