Dear Madam,
I was flabbergasted after reading the front page of last week’s Newcastle Advertiser, Dog survives alleged axe attack.
What kind of person does this? I find it extremely disturbing that a person can show such violence towards an animal.
I honestly feel the man should be put behind bars for a long time, as he could act out violently towards people.
You just have to look at the serial killers of the past; they all started off with animals. So, what is stopping this man from killing someone?
However, it was a welcome change in reading how someone actually stopped the man from acting out his violent fantasies.
So often people turn a blind eye on other living beings. When someone makes a stand, they should be complimented.
To Xela and Yunus Kader, thank you for not turning away from a poor dog’s pain. If there were more people like you in the world, society might be a better place.
