For help at the Paddadam, thank you

I WISH to thank all of the good people who supported the Paddadam clean-up project both last year and this year.

I would like to invite them all to come to the Paddadam on this coming Sunday, September 27, at 12:00 midday, to inspect progress and share ideas on the way forward. The weather forecast is for a warm, sunny day so it is a good day for a family braai.

Dominee Ferdie van Niekerk is invited to come with his congregation and see what has been done since they kicked the clean-up project off last year. The farming community is also welcome.

Buurtwag and Afriforum are invited to come with all their members. It is a good opportunity for both organisations to recruit new members and sell wors rolls to raise funds. Maybe somebody might like to organize a jumping castle.

Be aware that there no toilets facilities at the Paddadam. The municipality has promised to renovate the toilets but first they must security fence the park, otherwise the toilets will be vandalised once again.
