What happened to our streets and cleanliness?

Let's see the qualifications of our leaders at the Estcourt Municipality practiced

After much careful deliberation a thought of keeping quiet won’t change anything, but an act to action will. Estcourt belongs to all of us and, therefore, a way must be found to accommodate people who are willing to earn an honest bread.

Vending in Estcourt is a major source of income for the poor, it is a business that these people know and can handle, so, why are we not looking for ways to enhance and formalise these activities.

I am inviting the Mayor of Estcourt to find a creative way to assist these people to convert a significant area into a shopping zone for the people to sell.

There are too many roads and lanes causing great obstruction that should be reserved for vehicles. With a little planning and I’m offering my assistance and time totally free, there could be designed a large enough outdoor shopping area with documented rules and regulations. With good planning and design, there could be a major shopping zone and could be the basis for a major transformation of small business activities in Estcourt.

I again invite the Mayor to visit the streets from KFC down to the new taxi rank development. Where are our staff in uniform that supposed to be issuing tickets for exceeded parking hours?

It’s sad they cannot because they themselves don’t know their proper tasks. They stand and look in the wrong directions. Let’s see the qualifications of our leaders at the Estcourt Municipality practiced.
