Madam – Is left right or right left?
Left-handed people make up 10 per cent of the population. It has been said that left-handed people are more independent as a result of having to adapt to a world which is largely built for right-handed individuals. Lefties are three times more likely to become alcoholics. They also use the right side of their brain the most.
Researchers say that lefties tend to reach puberty four to five months later than right-handed people. About 40 per cent of tennis players are left-handed, and lefties make good baseball players, swimmers and boxers too.
Specialists suggest left-handed people are slightly more prone to allergies and asthma. Left- handers are also more likely to suffer from insomnia. It is said that lefties have extraordinary creativity and musical abilities. These are just a few facts of-left handed people
