Filthy, blocked gutters and bridges in Connor Street

We are requesting a serious change in attitude from you, our management, towards us, your community

These are just a few pictures of hundreds just like these, throughout this town. Notification has been given to all the departments on numerous occasions. But as per usual, it all falls on deaf ears and blind eyes.

I just do not understand our management, when we as the community, make their lives so much easier by pointing out the street names, guiding them straight to the problem. I would imagine that it would save them time and effort to get these jobs done.

You don’t need us to show you these images. Just open your eyes and take a keen interest in the town, after all, it was this community that placed you in the positions you are holding. By this action of allowing Estcourt to get SO run down, it shows us all that you don’t care about us or even respect us.

Every street, pavement, open grassy areas, municipal parking areas, trees and weeds are a glory to this town. Our infrastructure is collapsing. Hence the continued water problems with brown, muddy water or no water, coming out of our taps. Again a lack of respect for those who put you in power.

We are requesting a serious change in attitude from you, our management, towards us, your community. We need to visibly see that you are taking this town to the glory it deserves. We deserve this respect, after all, it is us, the households and businesses that you need for your lovely monthly salaries and glorious bonuses. You are still very blessed that you get these perks.

There are thousands out here that live out of rubbish bin bags and rely on family and friends for just maybe one meal a day.
Please do the loyal and honourable thing and prove your worthiness to the people of Estcourt – CLEAN THIS TOWN UP AND DISINFECT IT!
Start in the centre of Harding Street and then progress out from there.

Concerned community, let’s us fill our local paper with pictures and suggestions. Maybe then it will lighten our management’s work load. They won’t have to go and look for problem areas; we can save them so much time.
