Sir
We, the ANC, are determined and confident that the voters in all Endumeni wards will vote for the ANC candidates in each ward and should we emerge victorious at both the Endumeni and Umzinyathi district municipalities, then development will be accelerated.
Glencoe is a prime investment destination.
The vacant properties between Dundee and Glencoe, then the area between Glencoe and Wasbank will need to be developed. Already there are plans to extend the college and then there is a plan to build a private hospital.
ANC is the only party which can take development forward and create many thousands of new jobs in the next five years. People need to realise that development starts off at a slow pace and then accelerates to a faster level.
The two municipalities will need to employ town and regional planners to assist with the development goals.
Maybe some factories in Glencoe Industrial area and the Glencoe Wasbank vacant sites can be looked at. Mining development was on the table for Glencoe a few years ago but things went wrong.
Voters need to give the ANC the vote so that we have a clear and fresh mandate to deal with these issues over the next five years. At district level the new Mayor is only three months old, yet we need a full five years to deal with these matters.
Vote ANC on all three ballots. No ANC majority and development will fail.
We will work with other levels of government to fast track development.
Issued by the ANC’s Inkosi Bambatha region.
