‘Endumeni is unique when it comes to parties’

It seems as if you, the acting municipal manager, is from planet “Hlaudi”.
You cannot compare the two events. The former was held with proper planning, lots of security, noise within limits and did not go over midnight.
I challenge you and your Section 4 committee to present yourselves to a public meeting regarding this issue, then only will you see and witness the residents frustration. You guys are unique. No other town permits events like this in open places, roads cordoned off for all-night booze parties and even having huge boom boxes on top of vehicles blasting music in town promoting CD’s.
I am formerly from Nquthu and all this is totally unique to me.
It is such a waste having all these anti-AIDS and drug abuse conferences when we know the underlying causes of this. I hope in your golden years you and your committee will reflect back to what good was done by you for the community and also in protecting the youth.
