I would like to say thank you so much to Imbabazane Local Municipality that helped people with disabilities with the following:
1. Establishment of a disability forum for the first time.
2. Giving people with disabilities an opportunity to participate in ward committees structures.
3. People with disabilities, especially the executive forums, interact with all departments.
4. Involved in decision-making.
5. We also managed to spend the money that was allocated for us.
6. Operation Sukuma Sakhe also involves people with disabilities.
We thank the leadership of Imbabazane for empowering people with disabilities for the first-time at Imbabazane and I would also like to urge people with disabilities to get involved in politics, economical and non-governmental organisations. There are so many things we wish to achieve, as people with disabilities.
