‘Don’t cut the hand feeding the hungry’

The uniforms, shoes and food parcels were stolen last week from our IPO vehicle outside our offices in Victoria Street

I want to plead to the public, if anyone approaches you or anyone you know, selling Muntuza Primary School uniforms for boys and girls as well as black Toughees school shoes, do not to purchase them. Kindly report it to the Ithembalethu Outreach Project (IPO) on 036 352 5710 between 9am and 1pm weekdays.

The uniforms, shoes and food parcels were stolen last week from our IPO vehicle outside our offices in Victoria Street.

The stolen items have the value of R2 500, which was generously donated by a concerned citizen wanting to make a positive change in the lives of the underprivileged. The food parcels and uniform packs were to be distributed to five orphaned and vulnerable school-going children.

It breaks my heart when I realise that the culprits can easily take from the poor, and in doing so are cutting the hand feeding the hungry. In many cases we here at Ithembalethu Outreach Project are the only hope that the orphaned and vulnerable have.
