‘Poor service’ from police

Must an innocent citizen die until we see your presence?

Dear Estcourt police service ‘the protectors of its innocent citizens’.

I write this letter with dismay and anger regarding your poor service delivery. On Saturday, August 20 at about 6pm I called twice regarding a life and death situation.

I was informed that the police will arrive in a short while, yet to my amazement, nobody came. For how long must we, innocent citizens, be victimised by criminals? Why was I informed that the police will come, yet they did not?

Must an innocent citizen die until we see your presence? I eagerly await your response.

We have taken note of the letter and would like to request the author to make contact with the Acting Station Commander of Estcourt SAPS, Colonel Mkhize (036 342 9525). We would like to gain more details on the allegations from the author so that we may investigate it further and be allowed the opportunity to address the complaint directly with him/her.
