Newcastle, the home of true beauty
We need to be proud of the achievements of these two women, and should encourage other youngsters to follow suit. It is by encouraging our children to pursue their dreams, focusing on the positive, that our youth will be able to achieve their dreams.

People often complain about Newcastle, but we are a town that is truly blessed with awesome beauty.
I am of course talking about Janie Erasmus and Zuliana Harris.
After reading a recent copy of the Newcastle Advertiser, I was pleased to see how Janie Erasmus took the title of Miss Deaf World, while Zuliana Harris clinched the title of Miss India NKZN and will be going for the title of Miss India South Africa.
Not only is our town rich with historical sites, but we also obviously have the most beautiful women as well.
We need to be proud of the achievements of these two women, and should encourage other youngsters to follow suit. It is by encouraging our children to pursue their dreams, focusing on the positive, that our youth will be able to achieve their dreams.
