I am a resident of Colita and over the months I have witnessed my neighbours tap run all day. And I mean all day from dusk to dawn. Since they are not they kind of people one can approach and kindly ask them to close the tap, I decided to call the police.
I haven’t received any joy or any response, so I restored to calling the uThukela hotline, which just rang and rang. I am really growing annoyed with this issue, because I do not understand how one can be unaware of a tap that’s being left open all day.
They should stop being spiteful and selfish, in the end people like myself suffer due to the negligence and ‘don’t care attitude’ others give. Since there are always new faces around, I assume the premises is being rented, I would like landlords to check up on such matters.
