Since we have a new Mayor, I hope that she takes a drive around Estcourt and see what this town looks like. She must not hit any potholes and end up in hospital because our roads are so neglected.
They employ 15-20 men to dig up three or four potholes. They leave the rubble in the same spot. The next day they remove it. On the third day, they place the tar on the road at about 7am or 8am. By 3pm the tar is placed in the pothole.
So, when will this town get done? Employ good artisans to work faster. The current workers sleep on the pavement the whole day, how will work get done? Shop keepers sweep the dirt from the pavements into the gutter, this includes plastic, cardboard. When will that stop?
I think that they cannot afford refuse bags so the municipality should supply the bags, but maybe they will sell the bags. What happened to the 60-minute parking in town? It’s hard to find parking when we need to shop or bank. Place traffic cops on foot and issue fines for parking more than an hour so that we all don’t have to ride around looking for parking.
