Are you, Mayor, going to take some sort of initiative and take control of your responsibility towards the people of this town?

To the Mayor
Unfortunately we have to address you through our local media. You haven’t bothered about meeting with any one of us, least of all, tried to introduce yourself to us.

Have you even bothered to get your house (office) in order and get your staff out to clean this place up? There has been NO visibility of any cleaning crew on our streets.

The one and only time I have seen anyone, was weeks ago when they bagged litter from the gutters and promptly left it, ever since, on the pavements (Albert Street, George Memorial Clinic).

The restaurant, trading as a tavern, is forever in this state. We won’t go down the urine pavement where the customers have no sense of care and just line up along the wall to relieve themselves.

Are you, Mayor, going to take some sort of initiative and take control of your responsibility towards the people of this town? Firstly to initiate the by-laws that are there, then secondly to listen to the pleas of the people who are paying your salary, us rate payers.
