On November 3, I was knocked over and my handbag snatched by three men after visiting a fabric shop BUT what wonderful help and kindness I then experienced.

Starting with passers-by who picked me up, dusted me down, came running with my specs and shoe and checked that I was able to drive! Special thanks to Dr Kirstein and staff, Constable Chris Booysen and all at Pinetree who assisted me.

Biggest thanks to Thembelihle Dladla and her group of friends who phoned my son after finding my bag in lying in the road and then ran on that sweltering afternoon to the police station to hand it in!
