Support the Forderville CPF neighbourhood watch

Winter has become synonymous with increased residential crime over the many years

Dear Forderville resident

With regard to the Forderville Community Police Forum (CPF) neighbourhood watch, a security company has offered their services, in our opinion, the price of R90 per month, is indeed very reasonable.

This translates into a mere R3 a day for a period of three months (June, July and August), you will be paying a mere R270 for the safety of our loved ones. We are already in winter and the cold spell has already begun. Winter has become synonymous with increased residential crime over the many years.

We are imploring upon you to support this initiative of hopefully reducing crime and ensuring a crime free community.

Kindly note:
1. You will have to enter into a contract with the security company and pay them directly. (Receipt of payment will be issued).
2. The Forderville Community Police Forum members or the neighbourhood watch co-ordinator or its representatives will not collect any monies.
3. Colonel Jeffrey Ngcobo (SAPS) and Naeem Khan (from the Al-Imdaad Foundation) will also be personally assisting to supervise the efficiency of their security services to ensure that their services are on par with their quotation.
4. You can enter into a contract with the security company on a monthly basis.
5. The patrol van and foot patrol guards cannot be everywhere in the Forderville area at once. Based on the number of residents signing up, these patrol guards will be spatially allocated to the serve those residents.
6. Naeem Khan is the elected co-ordinator for the neighbourhood watch in the Forderville area.

We are looking forward to you joining this very important watch.
