Editor – On October 3, I phoned the Electricity Department and reported to a lady named Sharon that the light on street pole no. 5 in front of 27 Platrand Avenue, Hillside, was off and to please attend to the fault.
Sharon gave me a reference number, namely 201710033.
On October 23, I again phoned Sharon to say that nobody had come to attend to the fault.
I was given another reference number, 201710232.
Today (November 3), still no attention has been given to this problem.
