Madam – In just over a month, it is finally Christmas. Yay!
Not really, I hate this time of year, mostly due to the rampant hypocrisy of people.
With all the decorations and Christmas being forced down our throats, the next thing to follow is the “random” acts of kindness.
Every year, there are those who go out and do charitable deeds and they make sure people see it. Usually, they do their deeds in the spirit of Christmas, but prior to December, they are usually the most bitter people around.
Then there are those who have to have the brightest and biggest Christmas decorations around town. These people are so egocentric, they wallow in other people’s attention.
Let’s not post our good deeds for all to see. If you truly want to get into the Christmas spirit, help others and don’t advertise it. If you want to decorate your home, don’t do it to impress the neighbours. Because no one really cares and you are more a nuisance than an attraction.
