Was Glen Singh foolish to make such a statement?

Mr. Glen Singh, did you think I would of put my name to a letter if I was not telling the truth?

Editor- I am responding to Glen Singh’s (Uthukela’s Deputy Water Operations Manager) letter that was published in the March 2 edition of the Ladysmith Gazette.
Was Mr Glen Singh foolish or brave to make such a statement in the media or does he think he can continue to fool consumers? Mr. Glen Singh, did you think I would put my name to a letter if I was not telling the truth?
At +/- 4pm, after being told by the female official on duty at the Customer Care office, that the plumber was coming from Estcourt, I phoned to find a contact number of a Gazette Reporter and was told that a reporter would be sent to the scene.
I later phoned another reporter who said he was off that weekend. Please note that all this happened long before 6pm that you state that the first call was received.
Mr. Singh, please check with the female official who was on duty on the afternoon of February 24, how many calls were received from angry consumers.
The official was getting annoyed when she was phoned once again; this was long before 6pm.
Please check her records, that’s if she made a record after each phone call.
Consumers and complainants were standing outside their homes until well after dark and no action was taken.
Mr. Singh, did you not for one minute stop to think that consumers and I can prove by referring to our phone accounts at what time calls were made to uThukela DM’s Customer Care Line, long before 6pm?
