The IFP’s Gwala in a recent letter spoke out against what he called a White Cabal dominating the KZN Treasury in his rant against former Finance MEC Cronje. I do not want to debate the merits of his comments as I am not privy to such facts. But just to say that Gwala should cast a firm eye over Endumeni and see what his cronies in the co-governance set up have done since 2016 which is dominated by an IFP cabal.
This cabal has made many questionable decisions – appointments, the protracted suspension of many officials, the seeming break down in the implementation of the by-laws, the draining of resources – it is understood the MacPhail Drive project is running out of money – and the theft of electricity continues – especially in the Sithembile ward where residents were given blanket amnesty in the run-up to the by-election which the IFP won. Gwala?
