Please repaint Estcourt’s road markings

It is really difficult to see the markings, especially at night or in misty or rainy conditions

Through the medium of the newspaper, I would like to make an appeal to the local municipality to repaint road markings in most parts of Estcourt.

I was driving on the Ntabamhlophe Road that enters Estcourt on Saturday night and it was almost impossible to see the road markings.

This includes the centre markings as well as the speed humps. In some places, the road markings are invisible. It is really dangerous if one does not know the road.

But this is not limited to just this road, residential and some town streets need to be remarked. It is really difficult to see the markings, especially at night or in misty or rainy conditions and this is potentially dangerous to motorists and pedestrians alike.

A few months ago, I noticed municipal staff painting the road markings in Hellet Road. I assumed that this would spread to other parts of the town but I haven’t noticed a change anywhere else.

May I please request that the municipal management consider my request?
