The Bothas bid farewell to Dundee

So with memories of tears, laughter, sadness, happiness and a lot of fun, I would like to leave you in the capable loving hands of my colleagues at Dunmed

Sir
As I sat on my verandah this weekend, looking over the town towards Endumeni mountain and listening to the birds, I thought of our 24 years in Dundee.

I thought of the day we arrived, October 4, 1994, straight from London with a bed, fridge and a microwave. Since then a lot has happened; life, children, death, happiness, sadness and a whole lot of work. Today as a family we say goodbye. But it is much more than that. It is a thank you. It is amazing, it is incredible, it is a true blessing, to be able to have done what I have done. Thank you, people of Dundee.

As we move further on a new adventure, I will treasure our time in Dundee but especially the people of Dundee. We were blessed to get to know so many amazing people on various levels, professionally and personally. You have enriched our lives Dundee and will forever be in our hearts. Thank you. We hope we leave something of lasting value behind. You certainly have.

So with memories of tears, laughter, sadness, happiness and a lot of fun, I would like to leave you in the capable loving hands of my colleagues at Dunmed, but more so with these words from Brene Brown, “Faith is a place of mystery where we find the courage to believe in what we cannot see and the strength to let go of our fear of uncertainty.”

“Comfort zones are easy, boring and unchallenging, people make faith a very cheap thing.” – Andre Botha.

Bless you Dundee.
LOVE the Bothas.
