Be honest and pay up, says Estcourt shopkeeper

Some customers approach shopkeepers with the intention of being dishonest

An honest person will wake in the morning and pray to God, knowing that he owes nothing to anybody.

Should he owe money to anyone, he would honestly approach the individual and pay off his dues so that his road, as well as his conscience, is clear.

A dishonest person wakes and prays just as well. What God do they pray to knowing that they owe huge amounts of cash to people that are barely earning their keep?

Some customers approach shopkeepers with the intention of being dishonest and jokingly state that they will be driving down the other road once the account is hugely outstanding.

As a shopkeeper, I ask dishonest people, who is your next tuck shop to be hit on?
