Get municipal staff under control and clean up Estcourt

It is about time to get you act together and take control of your staff

To the pavement and gutter administrator

I witnessed five of your staff members lowering the bin to the ground and tossing out all the contents. Placing a black bag into the bin and just leaving the mess on the pavement.

This is totally unacceptable. We are paying rates and taxes and this is what we get for our money. It is about time to get you act together and take control of your staff.

If they are adding to the mess strewn around Estcourt, then it is about time to fire them. Next time I shall take a photo of your staff doing nothing but contributing to the filth.

Then I come to the months of nagging about cleaning our gutter. I have mentioned to you about the drain on our corner. Again, you haven’t bothered to give your staff a spade to clean and a bag. This past weekend, we had drinkers who consumed alcohol in our street.

They just toss the bottles down. Your staff hasn’t been to clean anything. The weeds and grass is thriving in our 24/7 water logged pavement, also no care regarding this or even trying to find the source of this water. Please make it a priority to get your staff under control and get Estcourt cleaned up.

I have mentioned employing a supervisor to ensure the job gets done. Why does your staff go in such huge numbers? Spread them out. There is more than enough work for all of them to work efficiently and get Estcourt cleaned up.
