Still some hope for humanity

People watched as she battled, without offering any assistance or even a kind word

Editor – It seems like people have less and less patience for each other.

Perhaps it’s a combination of the rising cost of living, constant fear of violence and the festive season looming.

However, late Sunday afternoon, a Good Samaritan proved there is still hope; a glimmer of good in humanity.

My mother-in-law stopped at Spar just after 5pm and when she had finished her shopping, her car simply refused to start. People watched as she battled, without offering any assistance or even a kind word of encouragement.

Until a man and his son, who were driving a silver Corsa, came to pick up his wife. The man immediately realised there was a problem and without hesitation, both he and his son rolled up their sleeves and started helping.

Our family would like to thank this man and his son for their selfless generosity.

We pray that the Lord will keep you and bless you.
