Men be healthwise

It's a test where blood is drawn from your arm; it is not a physical test where you are requested to drop your pants

Males over 40-years of age are urged to have a prostate specific antigen (PSA) done. Remember it’s a test where blood is drawn from your arm; it is not a physical test where you are requested to drop your pants.

You get to decide what to explain the simple test. Are you newly diagnosed with cancer and require support? You are welcome to contact me and we will arrange for you to meet survivors that are coping with cancer for six years to over 15 years.

Experiences of survivors are your best teachers. This meeting can also be arranged confidentially. Coping kits are available.

If you would like to meet cancer survivors and learn more about their experiences you are all welcome to attend the Cancer Support Group meeting on November 24 at 2pm at the Colita Community Hall.
