Madam –
When is it going to end, where the public threatens to stop paying rates and taxes due to services not provided regarding pothole repairs and water leakage etc.
If you don’t want to pay rates and taxes due to no service or because nothing was done IMMEDIATELY.
Go ahead don’t pay!! Your electricity will be cut, your refuse will not be collected and you will receive no further services from the municipality which are run by the Government, not a private sector.
Everybody in this town knows what is happening in the municipality. If you are not satisfied with the service this municipality rendered.
Pack up and move to another town. If you as the complainant can afford to fix a pothole, then do it. Don’t wait for the municipality who are going through financial difficulty.
It is frustrating and irritating listening how complainants threaten to stop paying rates and taxes and or they are paying rates and taxes and expect service.
It just show how manipulative people are and how quickly they throw stones and want to stress unnecessary people who work at the municipality who doesn’t even have a say how to run the municipality and who must jump HIGH went people are throwing tantrums. The people of Newcastle makes me sick.
You just want and want and want. It is time to give if you have a strong bank balance and expect nothing anymore from the municipality.
Management is not what it was and everybody do what they want, no consequences! What a nice place to work for!
