Roads condition in Newcastle – what are the Roads Department of the Municipality going to do about this?
You report potholes and months go by where nothing is done!
Who is in charge of this department? Or does this Department have a don’t care attitude? This is unacceptable and we want the roads to be attended to as soon as possible.
The condition of Amethyst Drive is terrible and you have to swerve out to avoid damage to your vehicle and tyres. And since it takes so long for claims to be paid out, make sure that the affected roads are looked after and maintained properly.
I urge the Municipal Manager to look into this matter for the Roads Department are representing an ugly picture of the Municipality.
