Community caregivers needed

If you are interested in learning, and being well equipped and comfortable when a friend or family member is in need of assistance, please attend

A cancer support group meeting will be held this coming Saturday (July 27) at the AFM Church (78 Brickhill Road), starting at 2pm.

I urge all caregivers and survivors to attend this meeting. The need for caregivers in our community will be discussed.

Previous topics discussed at the ARK Support Group and cancer support group meetings included the different roles of a caregiver and supporter, home-based care and institution-based care, and guidelines when visiting sick people. Any member of the public is welcome.
