Beating cancer with newfound confidence

I send a million thanks and blessings out to Mr Anil Sookraj and the members of his Cancer Support Group,

Editor – After being diagnosed with breast cancer and having one breast removed, I was stuck at home.

Having to rely on my husband and daughter took a toll on me. I thought he wouldn’t want me anymore, but he made it clear that he had married me for the person I am and the importance of our wedding vows.

On the other hand, I send a million thanks and blessings out to Mr Anil Sookraj and the members of his Cancer Support Group, not forgetting the sponsors of all the beautiful gifts, hampers, food, pampering and even entertainment.

We were made to feel special and that the ‘cancer’ word was just another phase of the past.

As God says: “Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity”, so we must continue to stand together as one.
