The ‘powers that be’ in council are reminded that where there is failure in service delivery, charges should not be levied.

For two weeks, refuse was not collected; therefore charges should be waived.

Council disconnects electricity of defaulting ratepayers. Congratulations, you need to do this!

But please, enclose a reminder to defaulters about their accounts – not all read the Estcourt News.

Please show mercy to pensioners – they all receive their pensions on the first of the month.
