A few friends of the school, including myself, have banded together to host a variety show called Showtime 100 - Estcourt's Got Talent

Editor –

For me and many thousands of others, Drakensberg Secondary School (formerly Estcourt State Indian High School) is a remarkable institution that has existed for 100 years, providing quality education.

Learners from this mighty institution have conquered the world in various disciplines… medicine, business, politics and education. A few friends of the school, including myself, have banded together to host a variety show called Showtime 100 – Estcourt’s Got Talent.

All funds raised will be donated to Drakensberg Secondary School for their infrastructure projects. This show will be held on April 4 at the Swami Sahajananda Community Centre, starting a 6pm.

Local artists Sashnee Sungeeth, Oriental Sungeeth, Rajesh Premchand, as well as PK Soni (from India) and Mr Sunshine will headline the function, with other local stars and a pick-a-box show sponsored by local businesses. Tickets are on sale from Drakensberg Secondary School and all performing artists.

Please get your tickets early to avoid disappointment. Let us show appreciation to our school. Join our group and make it happen.

Proud Drakensbergian Anil Sookraj
