What to do in a case of emergency?

If in future we face a different disaster where will we go for help?

Editor –

An open letter to our Honourable Mayor and the Municipal Manager of Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality.

After hearing neighbours, myself and the recent story of a python in Weenen that the municipality has never helped to remove the dangerous reptiles, who or which organisation is responsible for cases like that?

If in future we face a different disaster where will we go for help?

I once read in Estcourt News where the fire department did remove a dangerous reptile here in Weenen, but it is the only case I can quote.

We don’t want to sound as if we are fighting the municipality or rather jeopardising its image. We belong here and must defend our municipality, but what can we say to support our defence should we have to?
