The Legends successfully defended their score and managed to bowl the Highlanders out for 106 runs with Anton Lombard scoring 31 not out. Craig Petersen and Charl Crous were the best bowlers for the legends each taking 2 wickets for 13 runs in their allotted 2 overs. The Legends won by 70 runs.
THE continuation of the fun filled business league took place at Cecil Emmett last Saturday afternoon with two matches being played.

In the first game, JMR Trailers batted first against Siyaxhasana Sixers and scored a formidable 151/5 in their 15 overs. Wikus Janse van Rensburg top scored with a good accumulative 43 not out being retired twice on the agreed 20 run maximum score for the batters. Izjan Snyman starred in bowling for the Siyaxhasana Sixers, taking 4 wickets for 11 runs in his allotted 2 overs. The Siyaxhasana Sixers batted well and reached the imposing total made by JMR Trailers, their highest run scorer being Andrew Vorster, scoring 27 not out. The best bowling for JMR Trailers came from Jean Botha claiming 1 wicket for 22 runs in his 2 overs. Siyaxhasana Sixers won by 4 wickets.
The batsman makes it back to his crease just in time to avoid a run out.
The other game was played between The Legends and The Highlanders. The Legends batted first and scored 176/5 in their 15 overs. Wessel Vorster scored a good 26 not out with the bat. Dean Aitken was the best bowler for the Highlanders taking 1 wicket for just 9 runs in his 2 overs.
