Black Whiskey wows the Valentine crowd

As always, the crowd was not disappointed by the double dose of excitement as live music once more proved to be the order of the day after an exhilarating event, courtesy of Dee's and the Vryheid Athletics Club.

LOCAL band, Black Whiskey, recently rocked the deck at Dee’s once again in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

Dee’s Restaurant and Bar was a hive of activity last Monday, as public support poured in for the Vryheid Athletics Club’s annual Valentine’s Day Fun Walk.

With Phillip ‘Dupie’ Du Plessis on vocals and guitar, Kelvin Bland on drums and Bridge6‘s Estiaan Fritze on bass guitar, patrons were in for a treat with a live performance by the spiritedly entertaining Black Whiskey, who performed several popular crowd favourites as well as some of their own original songs.
