The girls really kept the flag flying on Sunday at the Country Club, with the top three teams all in top form to really dominate the tournament

The girls really kept the flag flying on Sunday at the Country Club, with the top three teams all in top form to walk the tournament.
Congratulations to Barbara Baleri, Janet Barnardo and Lorraine Kirsten on coming out winners, with the runners-up being Ida Oosthuizen, Shenaaz Singh and Desrai Maartens, and taking third place was Magriet Coetzee, Ria Mapp and Veronica Malan. Well done for such “focus” and “konsentrasie”.
This weekend is the great trek to Margate where Veejay Singh, Veronica Malan, Desire Maartens and Magriet Coetzee will be participating in the Quadrangular Tournament against all the other Natal Districts. Good luck and good bowling, but most of all have a safe trip.
On Saturday afternoon, it will be Nomads as usual, starting at 1.30pm so do support this worthy charity cause.
Friday Twilight Bowls will be on as usual, so come and enjoy the cool weather.
