LOW water levels and scorching heat were not enough to deter some of the die-hard Vryheid Luremasters’ members from attending the March League, which was held at Bivane Dam on Saturday.
Despite the difficult conditions, with the dam level at a distressingly low level of only 21%, according to the Vryheid Luremasters’ original report, club chairman, Louwtjie Joubert landed a first place winning 1,99kg bass and Zane Formo hooked a 1,37kg bass for the second spot. All catches were released after weighing.
