Estcourt eyes Zulu Shield

All golfers please note that this Saturday will be the Zulu Shield in Mooi River, so please get your names down for this great golf challenge

On Saturday the golf club hosted a four-ball alliance with two scores to count with a small field of 24 players.

Winners on the day with 92 points were Bruce le Roux, Melton Schiever, Dave Rudderham and George Walker.

Second on a count out on 90 points were Paul Wagenaar, Reuben Meades, George van Niekerk and Robbie Wattrus. Third also on 90 points were Wilfie Laatz, Peter Wood, Carlo Piagesti and Gordon Cross.

The jackpot was won by Wilfie, Peter, Gordon and Carlo on 20 points. Closest to pin number three was L Hume. The Wednesday competition was rained out and the Friday competition was won by George van Niekerk on 20 points.

All golfers please note that this Saturday will be the Zulu Shield in Mooi River, so please get your names down for this great golf challenge.

Please check the notice board at the club for information on forthcoming events. Don’t forget to repair your pitch and divots as there are many on the course. Also remember to carry a sand bag with you.
