SPORT: Bengal Tigers show their claws against Warriors
The Newcastle Mall Kestrels will return to Pietermaritzburg on Sunday, November 19, where they will face Standard.
The Spur Super Saturday League is rapidly approaching its end, with the attention focused on the B-Division this past Saturday.
Lennoxton scored 137 runs against Highlands, where Craig Pedersen achieved the rare feat of taking a hat-trick for Highlands. Pedersen was well supported by Brandon Rossol, who bagged three wickets in the Lennoxton innings.
Two of the best scorers for Lennoxton were Mohammed Goga who scored 47 runs, while Sanjeeva Wijayarantha scored 46 runs.
In reply Highlands only lost three wickets, as Christopher Reineke scored 57 runs and Connie Niewoudt secured 49 runs, taking their team to victory with 13 overs to spare.
The Bengal Tigers then faced Warriors at Paradise Sports Grounds. The Bengal Tigers batted first and amassed 264 runs for four from 30 overs.
Warriors put up a brave fight in reply, and finished on 208 runs for nine wickets.
During the Ithemba Security Night League, Highlands beat Warriors by 33 runs.
Eric Blandin de Chalain and Tyron Roux each claimed three wickets, helping to limit Warriors to 94 runs, while Highlands finished on 127 runs.

Rain intervened when Lennoxton faced the Tigers as both teams were forced to share the log points on offer.
On Sunday, November 12, the Newcastle Mall Kestrels smashed Cosmos in the Pietermaritzburg Premier League.
The star of the show was left arm seamer, Sandile Hlatswayo, who delivered the knockout blow early in the day.
When the teams met in the T20 league earlier this season, Hlatswayo had claimed three wickets, but he was not done yet.
Hlatswayo was unplayable and finished with six wickets for 13 runs from his 8.1 over spell.
Johan Jacobs and Arslan Butt also performed well, doing their part to limit Cosmos to 38 all out.
In reply, Hussain Essop and Arshad Dessai accumulated the required runs in 7.1 overs, as the Newcastle Mall Kestrels claimed an emphatic 10-wicket win.

Y&R Developers Amajuba hosted their first Promotion League fixture in Newcastle on Sunday, looking for a second win, after beating Vryheid in their opening fixture of the league.
Estcourt started brilliantly as they set the target with an opening partnership of 108 runs.
The visitors were pulled back from a position of strength through the bowling of Muhammad Ansar, Divan Geel and Matthew Ewart, who all limited Estcourt to 219 runs all out.
In reply, Y&R Developers Amajuba lost the early wickets of Riaan Kritzinger and Farhaan Patel, who left the score at seven runs for the loss of two wickets.
Sajid Gori was the only batsman to come to terms with the Estcourt attack with 48 runs, but someone needed to score big in order for Amajuba to win and that never materialised.
The hosts were finally bowled out for 170 runs, giving Estcourt the win by 49 runs.
Amajuba will next face Ladysmith away on Sunday.
