Gert Sibande under 20 rugby team dominate with a 34-28 victory
After a deficit of 13-14 in Nkangala's favour, Gert Sibande managed to swing the game and came out victorious.
Nine Newcastle Highlanders players represented the Gert Sibande regional under 20’s against Nkangala in Secunda on Saturday (February 3), winning 34-28.
After a deficit of 13-14 in Nkangala’s favour, Gert Sibande managed to swing the game and came out victorious.
Highlanders, Andre Swanepoel (head coach) and Collen Ndlovu (assistant manager), are also involved with the regional team.
Congratulations to Mnelisi Gamede (12) and Ruan Brink (9), who each scored tries while captain Wessel Renison (13) kicked 14 points.
The next regional game will take place on February, 17 in White River.
