NN Warriors triumph in Mojo’s Astro Soccer League

The league, featuring eight local teams, brought together soccer lovers, families, and fans who gathered in the face of thunder, lightning, and torrential rain, undeterred by the weather, to cheer on their favourite teams.

Despite the challenging conditions, the evening was filled with intense competition, remarkable performances, and sportsmanship that truly exemplified the spirit of the game. In the end, NN Warriors took the top spot, with Outlaws/Zenith finishing second and Zamalek securing third.

The standout players of the evening included:

• Highest goal scorer: Mahdi
• Best keeper: Mohammed Bhula
• Best player: Mthomba

Sulaiman Dinath, the league organiser, expressed his gratitude towards everyone who contributed to the success of the event. “Thank you to all who participated in the league, with special thanks to the referees,” he said.
